When I was little, my eyes were big so I did not feel much stress, but as I entered my teens I became more conscious of my appearance, and my single eyelids started to become a complex. So I used double eyelid tape and glue, and this time, since I was entering high school, I thought I should get double eyelid surgery. But after using the tape, even though the skin above my eyes had loosened a bit, when I went for a consultation the director looked at my eyes and said I could do natural adhesion instead of incision!! I had gone expecting an incision, so I was so happy that I changed the plan from December to November and went ahead. Right before the surgery they drew the line very carefully and checked the symmetry extremely thoroughly haha. But I was most worried about swelling and bruising, and I was most surprised that I had no bruising right after the surgery!! I thought I would still bruise during recovery, but I only had a little around the outer corners of my eyes and there was not much at all! It may differ by person, but the director seemed extremely meticulous, so I think you do not need to worry too much about bruising. Swelling probably depends on how you manage it, but I really had almost no bruising, so I was satisfied. Today was day 7 so I went to get the stitches removed, and I was just so happy The line is not too much, and after a month it will be a pretty eye!!
