I went in for a revision after my first nose surgery with silicone + ear cartilage became saggy after two or three years. I had gone in thinking about cadaver rib cartilage + silicone, but found out it was Gore-Tex, not silicone. I was worried about Gore-Tex, so I asked the doctor, and he explained with examples that according to papers and so on, I didn't need to worry about side effects. The shape of my nose had changed because of the silicone, which was stressful, so they recommended fixing it in a way that would stabilize it with Gore-Tex. The result was satisfying. It rose naturally and elegantly. It looks like it was originally pretty.
