I got my first nose surgery. Honestly, I booked surgery in a hurry without checking around the hospitals. The surgeon was assigned to me randomly by the coordinator, but after the consultation I wanted to look at the reviews and consult with another surgeon too, so I asked for that. Because of scheduling issues plus just wanting to get it done quickly, I booked with the surgeon who did my first consultation. If I could go back, I would have worked hard to gather info and choose the hospital more carefully. Why? Because within less than a year the silicone bent as if it were protruding, so I had AS, and even after that, maybe it's just my imagination, but it seems a little crooked still, T_T The only advantage of this hospital is the price, as far as I know (maybe that's just how large hospitals are?) But even if it costs more, I think the nose is something you should do at a one-doctor clinic, and if I could go back, I would have done that too..?? Still, aside from the crookedness, the line is pretty. They did not pressure me excessively, but the explanations were too insufficient. If I were to have surgery with this surgeon, I would need to bring a full list of questions and ask them one by one. Before going into surgery, they never said how much they would lift it or how many millimeters of silicone they would insert. Usually they seem to show simulations like 3D, but there was nothing like that, and they did not even explain it by drawing anything! haha But I was also completely clueless, so I just lay down on the operating table lol Now that AS is done, I've become obsessed with my nose and want to do it again with autologous costal cartilage.
