It was a revision nose surgery, and after I visited many clinics, I chose this hospital because they said during the consultation that revision without implants was possible. After the first splint came off, the part where they had shaved down the hump actually protruded more, so they numbed the area locally and scraped it down. From year 1 to 2 I was happy with it, but in year 3, maybe because there is no implant, the area between the tip and the bridge now looks like a hump again. I was told during the consultation that this could happen if silicone wasn’t used, so I’m accepting it. Overall, compared with the failed first surgery, it feels much more normal, so I’m about 85% satisfied.
