I looked into a non-open approach and had surgery here, and I’m leaving this in case it helps anyone who’s going for a consultation. I had the consultation in this order: reception > photo taking (CT) > manager > director (virtual simulation) > manager, and like other hospitals, they said my septum was too small so I’d need costal cartilage. One difference was that it could be done without opening the nose. The other places had said it was only possible with an open approach And because they said if autologous costal cartilage felt burdensome, they could use donated costal cartilage together with septal cartilage to correct it naturally, honestly there was no reason for me not to do it, so I booked the surgery that same day. While listening to the explanation, they also ran simulations, and after looking at other people’s photos I saw that even with a non-open approach, the before-and-after difference in nose shape was clear, so I was really excited?? It has been 3 months since the surgery now, and almost all the remaining swelling is gone, so the line is settling well. I went because of the reviews and the director, and I think it was a good choice.
