I had surgery in June 2025. I went from the provinces to Seoul. I read everything carefully on YouTube and went there convinced this was the right hospital. I had previously had under-eye fat repositioning surgery in Busan, but it recurred and my under-eyes became uneven. I also got the wrong injection of Ultracol under the eyes, which made it even worse, so it was a truly bleak situation and an extremely difficult surgery. Still, the doctor did his best. Revision surgery really is not easy. I was given only the minimum anesthesia, but when I felt pain here and there, they gave me a little more. One eye in particular was really difficult, but they still did their best until the end. It took about a month for my under-eyes to fully recover. Since it was a revision surgery, I bruised more as well. Still, under-eye fat removal is really a high-difficulty procedure, and the doctor performed it very well as a true specialist. Thanks to that, I no longer worry about under-eye fat and am able to enjoy each day happily. The under-eye area is the first thing people notice, so if it is swollen or uneven, it really looks bad. I think removal is the right choice rather than repositioning. Because they only remove the unnecessary protruding fat, there is no issue of the eyes looking sunken or anything like that. In fact, it makes you look younger and more energetic. I am grateful to the doctor for taking responsibility and doing his best on such a difficult surgery. One month after surgery, daily life is not a problem, and by about 3 months it is so normal that you can forget about it. It has now been 6 months and everything is completely fine. If you are worried about under-eye fat, go to a place that specializes in removal rather than repositioning. Mine was a revision case and the difficulty was high, so the surgery price was a bit high, but the first surgery was not expensive. Do not go through the same trial and error I did, and look into under-eye fat removal surgery.
