I had the surgeon consultation first, then the manager consultation. The surgeon was incredibly enthusiastic and gave a very detailed consultation. The manager was the nurse who actually goes directly into the operating room, so that was good. The surgeon firmly said no when something couldn’t be done, so the cost ended up much higher than what I had originally planned for the nose surgery. I had planned on osteotomy and an implant-free tip, but then all sorts of things got added. They also said the septum condition can only be known after opening the nose, and that they might need to use costal cartilage. If I use autologous costal cartilage, it adds 2.5 million won, so even though this is my first surgery, it comes to 7 million won. They aren’t forcing a deposit or offering discounts at all, but the cost is what I’m most worried about.
