Even when I had surgery the first time, I regret for so long that I followed a friend and got surgery without properly researching the hospital. At the consultation I couldn’t even say things like, “Please do it this way,” and the director decided my eye design just a few minutes before surgery. Nothing about it was properly done, and in the end the line ended up extremely thick in an in-out shape. I was a freshman and still had to go to school, but I felt like people were only staring at my eyes, so I couldn’t even do school life properly. I went through every community, carefully compared patient and hospital review photos, and saw that the line-division method was the most natural, so I consulted and had surgery. The director seemed to have the goal of improving things while matching what I wanted as much as possible, rather than recommending surgery from the start. Since the line was already too high, there wasn’t enough extra skin, so I chose line division, and because the area above my eyes was sunken, they recommended orbital fat grafting. They said if the line became lower, the sunken area could make my eyes look sleepy. I didn’t want to fail twice, so I decided to follow the director’s advice. It’s been about five months since surgery now, and the lower line is honestly much better.
