I had been thinking about double eyelid surgery for 5 years, but I got a canthoplasty done right away without much thought. I had felt like the area in front of my eyes was a bit cramped, but I hadn't thought of fixing it with canthoplasty. Then while getting a double-eyelid consultation, I thought I should look at some canthoplasty before-and-after reviews, so I asked the director to show me some. After seeing them, even just that one procedure made such a big difference. When I asked how my eyes looked, I was told I had a bit of an epicanthic fold, so if I did both together it would look more open than now
