- Paid 30,000 won for a nose CT scan, consultation fee was free - Looking at the CT together, they diagnosed me with a deviated septum and said the inside of my nose was crooked - Surgery method: closed approach (they said the outside recovers in a week, the inside takes a few months) *Tip material: septal cartilage + ear cartilage or mention of rib cartilage (not used much for the first surgery); they said whether ear cartilage would be used or not could be decided during surgery *Bridge material: silicone (said it gives a pretty shape) or dermis (disadvantage is it gets absorbed easily) or rib cartilage (said to be hard) + Options: alar base reduction, donated rib cartilage available - They said it could be covered as covered by insurance because function is included, but in the end the price was similar to other hospitals; how much would actually be covered depends on the insurance company, so it's not certain -> Overall: I did my own research and went there, but the consultation with the doctor only lasted about 10 minutes, and there was absolutely no mention of a specific nose shape. I was honestly disappointed because even in the explanation about materials, they kept saying, 'You won't know until you open it...' Still, they didn't pressure me at all to leave a deposit, so it was comfortable~ Ah... and they hit me with the facts about my nose (like saying it makes my whole face look flat), which hurt a bit..
