At first I only planned to get double-eyelid surgery with the buried method, but they said if I wanted a more glamorous look, I should also do upper canthoplasty, so I went ahead. In the beginning it was so thick that I seriously thought, if the swelling does not go down, I am totally done for. But the moment it hit the one-year mark, if I covered the slightly widened part with eyeliner, it looked amazing. If I had only done the buried method, I think it would have felt a bit lacking in glamour. The downside was that before the one-year mark, after drinking or crying, it would swell up a lot the next day, so it would turn into Southeast Asian-looking eyes. Still, if you can endure one year, I recommend it.
