Since my nasal bone was broken anyway, I went to the one hospital I had been curious about. There were no photo reviews, and the only thing online was the doctor's blog posts, so I was so curious that I went to check it out. My nose is already fairly high and large, and I also have a slight dorsal hump. I was not particularly fixated on making my nose higher. When I asked whether bridge osteotomy plus cartilage binding would be possible, they said it could be done, but recommended raising the tip instead. I really liked the front view, but the side view was so high that I wondered if that was really right lol. I had also seen reviews saying the doctor was unfriendly, but while not especially warm, they answered my questions in very detailed terms and showed me a lot of before-and-after photos of cases similar to mine, so I did not feel that at all. The doctor's preferred look seems to be a nose with visible nostrils, a naturally slightly humped rounded shape, and the review photos all looked different, but they had that kind of natural feeling. Since this was a consultation after a nose-bone fracture, they told me to come back after at least 6 months, once the bone had healed, but the consultation itself was so satisfying that I almost made a reservation on the spot. Still, the tip they lifted with a cotton swab felt too high, so I will probably think it over again after visiting other hospitals.
