Dr. Park performed my non-incisional double-eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and medial canthoplasty, and another doctor performed my lower canthoplasty. At the initial consultation, the other doctor even recommended lateral canthoplasty, but no matter how much I felt the back of my eye, I could feel bone immediately. So I said there seemed to be no space to widen, and only then did they feel it and say there seemed to be no space. I wanted to lower the outer eye corners, so I decided to get only lower canthoplasty. After the first surgery, the crease was too high and overcorrected, leaving me with fierce-looking, sausage-like eyes. On top of that, the asymmetry was severe. They told me it was swelling and to wait, so I lived with sausage eyes for a full year and a half. When I returned after a year and a half, Dr. Park said he seemed to have been overly ambitious and immediately scheduled revision surgery. For the asymmetry from the lower canthoplasty, I was told the doctor who performed it had left, so I simply did not receive aftercare. (So they are still asymmetric.) After revision surgery, they became much more natural and I am satisfied. The asymmetry still bothers me, but most people's eyes are asymmetric, so I decided to just live with it.
