I got a philtrum laser hair removal session first, and they were so kind and considerate and made it painless that on my second visit for the philtrum I also got my underarms treated. At the first session, the doctor even did a bonus treatment down to my chin instead of just the philtrum area, and I could feel he kept paying attention to whether I was in pain. But when I went the second time, a different doctor did it, and it was so painful and rough that I thought it was a different machine. I'm curious how the same machine can feel so different. They said it was because they used a stronger laser setting, but it just hurt like crazy and irritated me, and it swelled up...
