I had double eyelid surgery in a semi-outline style using the natural adhesion method a year ago. The incision line was set at the position of my original double eyelid crease, and now that all the swelling has gone down, the line feels lower than I expected, which is disappointing. At first, while there was still swelling, it looked at least somewhat defined, but once that went down, it no longer felt as high as I had hoped. Looking back now, if I wanted a higher crease, I don’t think I should have chosen semi-out. Since it doesn’t move much beyond the original crease position, if the goal was to raise the height, I probably should have chosen a different method from the start. I wish I had gone over that part more carefully during the consultation, which is a bit disappointing.
