A hot review written right after surgery yesterday afternoon... This was the first place I went to after deciding on liposuction, and I booked right away and had the surgery just one week later lol. It is not one of those flashy, super-luxurious clinics you see in Gangnam or Apgujeong, so at first I wondered if this was really the right place, but since it is a first-generation liposuction clinic, I figured it must have been around a long time... The consultation went in this order: coordinator consultation - director consultation - coordinator consultation again. The coordinator was very friendly, and since this was my first time consulting about lipo, there was a lot I did not know, but they explained things kindly first. And because I had booked a same-day consultation in a rush, I met with Director Kim Yoon-jik instead of Director Kim Jae-hoon. He explained things in a very calm, detailed way and said that rather than overdoing the bone-pushing look, it would be better to remove fat in a way suited to my tissue quality (I lost more than 25 kilos recently, so my skin is extremely saggy). That felt more trustworthy than a clinic that just says, "We’ll remove everything for you." 🥹🥹 After that, I went back to the coordinator consultation. At this clinic, the surgery cost changes depending on body weight, and I was just barely over 52 kg, so I would have had to pay an extra fee So I said I would diet hard and come on the surgery day, but the coordinator actually stopped me. She said if I came after losing weight that fast, my skin would sag even more. She really felt like my aunt Of course, I did go in at 51 kg on the surgery day, so I ended up paying 2 million. lol On the day of surgery, the process was: before photos - InBody test - consultation and design with the assigned director - payment - waiting while getting IV fluids? - povidone disinfection and anesthesia, then surgery. The other staff members were kind too, but my assigned coordinator was still the best. Director Kim Jae-hoon explained things in a straightforward way. He seemed like a real expert lol. I guess he really is... While I was waiting with an IV in my foot, I was fairly calm, but once I entered the actual operating room and the nurses applied povidone all over my upper body and tied down my hands and feet, I started getting insanely nervous... It was my first time ever being in a surgery room or even on a surgical bed, so I got really scared. But as soon as they said, "We’re starting the sedation anesthesia, this may feel a bit uncomfortable~," I passed out in less than 5 seconds and do not remember anything after that lol. In the recovery room, when I woke up and called the nurse, they personally gave me water with a straw and brought me all kinds of snacks too. I kept crying that it hurt so much, so they gave me one more painkiller dose too. After I calmed down a bit, I walked around the hallway a little, changed clothes, got porridge, prescriptions, and instruction sheets, and was discharged! When I left the hospital, it was just before 8 p.m., and the pharmacy on the first floor of the building was open until 8:30 p.m., so I got my meds there. I was staggering around and could barely hold my head up, with my eyes kept closed, so the pharmacist took all my things for me... sat me down... explained the medicine two or three times... and even packed up the povidone and waterproof bandages for me... Everyone I met there, from the clinic staff and director to the pharmacist, was so kind that even though I went alone without a guardian, I was able to have the surgery and get home safely. It is day 2 now, and even after taking off the bandages, the back bulge is gone, so I am really happy...
