They do give professional consultations. I went there for both functional and cosmetic purposes: septal deviation (function) and a short nose plus bridge improvement (aesthetics), after having had septal surgery 14 years ago. For the septal deviation, they concluded septal reconstruction would be better because the septum had already been used and was likely weakened; for the bridge, they said to remove the current silicone and replace it with different silicone, plus autologous costal cartilage. When I said I was scared of using autologous costal cartilage, they said even athletes use autologous costal cartilage and get it done(?) Something like that. They were knowledgeable, but did not feel kind, and since I was most worried about surgical complications, I asked about those first. They only talked about common complications such as inflammation, which I did not like. When I got home and looked up septal reconstruction, I found out they had not mentioned critical side effects like perforation risk, the nose getting too dry after reconstruction because autologous costal cartilage is too hard, or the possibility that treating the septal deviation may not actually improve rhinitis. In the end it was too expensive (16.6 million won..), not very kind, and even the manager was rude. When I said I found them by searching, they replied something like, 'Ah, you should study more,' lol.
