The person before me was loudly talking in the lobby about post-op care and such, so I wondered if this place was usually like this. Overall, both the staff and the clinic felt noisy and hectic. It did not have a refined atmosphere. It is located in Apgujeong, but the lobby and overall size were somewhat small, and even the changing room was only loosely separated by curtains. The estimate was 3.6 million won for arms 360 degrees, armpits, accessory breast tissue, and the back bulge, but if you write a review, they discount it down to 2.8 million. If I had made the reservation on the same day, it might have gone down to 2.5 million. (Of course, VAT is separate.) When I asked if they could do 2.5 million, they looked kind of dead-eyed and said, 'If we do 2.5 million, will you make a reservation and leave today?' and gave me a rather snarky look. It was the first time I had a consultation like that, so I was taken aback. Once I brought up the price and the fact that I had appointments at other hospitals afterward, I could see them suddenly lose interest. When I asked them to send the estimate by KakaoTalk, they said, 'Just remember this amount.' Then when I said to please send it, they said they would send it after I messaged them on KakaoTalk. After the consultation, there was also no guidance to the changing room or any goodbye when I left. A consultation like that, and they still expect you to book without even seeing the doctor, just based on line photos from the staff manager... honestly, the staff manager did not seem professional at all in her consultation. Apparently the doctor used to be famous for legs, then became famous for arms too, and now is famous for love handles. In other words, the doctor is good at everything. I went for my arms, but they showed me legs and abdomen first, so I was thinking, 'Ah... I only want to see arms.' The review photos did show nice lines, but they sometimes failed to properly answer the questions I prepared or did not seem to know the answers very well. They kept stressing the importance of the compression garment and said that because of the wear period, I would need to keep wearing it consistently for six months. This was the first place that told me to wear a compression garment for that long, and in most cases the lines should show somewhat anyway, so I wondered how much they must have been digging around with the machine inside to keep stressing the garment so much. The incision points were six total: front and back of the armpit, then exactly at the elbow for the arms. When I asked whether they use skin protectors, they did not know at first, but after I explained it, they said, 'Ah, that? Yes, we use it.' They said they use both machine-assisted and handmade methods, and mentioned using a micro cannula, but when I asked about incision size they said it was about 0.5 mm. Overall, it felt like they do not know the details of surgery very well.
