I had a surgery consultation, and this felt like a hospital that was trying to schedule me as the very last surgery. At other hospitals, when I said what I wanted, it felt like they would just adjust to it. Here, they clearly said what could be done and what could not, which made me trust them more. They recommended autologous costal cartilage, and they said they do not use donated rib cartilage at all. I originally went in thinking about donated rib cartilage, so it was a little ambiguous, but they handled the consultation sincerely, and the hospital facility had a cozy feeling, which I liked. The only downside was that because it is a private clinic? with just one doctor, the consultation and booking were a bit difficult!
