On the day of the procedure, I went in, signed the surgical consent form, paid, washed my face, lay down in the operating room, had anesthetic put in, and had local anesthesia applied to my eyes before the surgery started. The doctor checked the line about five or six times while I was closing and opening my eyes. They said that if it hurt during the surgery, they would give me more anesthesia. During the operation, one side did not hurt much at all, but the other side felt a bit tight and pulled, with slight pain, so I mentioned it. But a fairly large bruise appeared only on the side that felt tight and hurt. The black bruise seems like it took about a month to go away? The yellow bruise took about two months... (The side that did not hurt had no bruise.) Other than that, there was nothing especially noteworthy. The surgery took about an hour. Then I went to the recovery room and rested lying down. Being tucked under a warm blanket made me feel drowsy and good. They also gave me the ice pack eye mask and a small towel, and told me to keep using it on my eyes on the way home, along with the prescription. After resting a bit, I put on the hat I had brought and picked up the medicine from the pharmacy right downstairs before leaving. It has been a while since the surgery, and I am satisfied. I think I found a good hospital haha
