I had a piercing in the auricle, but it wouldn’t heal for months and got infected, so I eventually took it out. Then a keloid formed, and it was huge, like the size of a kidney bean?? I couldn’t even tie my hair up, and even in summer I had to wear it down, so it was really frustrating. I heard there was surgery to remove it, so I looked into it and got it removed. They said if it were a little smaller, steroid injections could get rid of it, but mine was not something that could be removed that way, so I had surgery... The surgery time was shorter than I expected, and recovery was basically over in about ten days? It was completely simple. I wish I had looked into it sooner lolllll. Now my auricle is clean again, so I can tie my hair up! I will never get a piercing again....
