I had double-eyelid surgery here 10 years ago. The consultant was a psycho (I do not know whether the current consultant is the same person or whether they are still there lol). It was my first surgery and I knew nothing, but they told me to start practicing opening my eyes before the stitches were even removed. In the end, after the stitches came out, the inner-corner stitch broke during the trip, so I could not go to the hospital because I was out of town and had used up all my leave, so I could not get it repaired. I had the inner-corner revision done somewhere else. If I had not done those eye-opening exercises while the stitches were still in, the result would probably have been better. Also, during the pre-op design, I asked them to make it higher, but they said, 'At that level, you probably will not be satisfied!' When they told the surgeon that, the surgeon raised it even more lol. And for places like this, once you factor in swelling meds and everything else, I saw community reviews from that time saying the medicine alone came to about 200, so I asked them to leave out anything I did not absolutely need. But they only gave me the local Riaben they had in the clinic, left out all the basics like scar ointment, and did not give me a prescription, so I could not treat it properly. Back then it was my first surgery ever and I had no information, so I thought maybe this was just how it was, but fortunately it healed well and the line looked fine once the swelling went down, though the scar was left really badly. The staff member who was about to give me the prescription and then took it back was just as bad, and the consultant's attitude before and after surgery was completely different, which really pissed me off. Why are you taking your irritation out on customers? Nearly 10 years later, when I had another eye-area procedure and they put in antibiotic ointment, I felt a huge foreign-body sensation along my 10-year-old double-eyelid line and could not even open my eyes. Why is that happening? ^^ Summary: the consultant explained things strangely, so the result was bad. Their attitude toward people changed completely before vs. after surgery. Ten years later, after another eye procedure, I had a lot of foreign-body sensation from the stitches; usually it is fine. The line itself is okay. I asked for it to be set high because I expected weight gain would hide it, and that ended up suiting me. It took about 9 months for the swelling to go down. Also, because I was fat, they would not let me wear the surgical gown and went straight into surgery with me still in my regular clothes lol (my BMI was 27 at the time). I did not know it was strange back then, but after having surgery elsewhere in a clean and comfortable way, I realized how odd that was. In community reviews at the time, they promoted the idea that if the surgeon needed to scratch an itchy area during surgery, they would use a cotton swab, as a sign of hygiene and attention to cleanliness, but during my whole surgery they poked and scratched my face with a cotton swab in front of me at least five times lol. Why not scratch it where I could not see? What is this performative stuff T_T lol At the time, it was 1,400 in cash, and I think they got annoyed because I asked if there could be a little more discount, but now they are advertising it just fine at 1,200.
