After having my double eyelid incision reversed at a previous hospital, my eyes returned to how they used to be. One side had a natural semi-out double eyelid, and the other side had no crease, so they were uneven eyes with thin tissue. At first I was only planning to stitch the side without a crease, but the faint wrinkle on the inside of the natural double eyelid was also bothering me, so I asked about that too. Originally it wasn't there, but I thought it was adhesion from the first surgery hospital's in-out line and asked about it. It was really faint and short, and it bothered me,, but I just had to live with it haha. At other hospitals they said stitching it wouldn't solve it and I should just live with it, but here was the only place that said, 'If you stitch it, it will look even fainter.' So I asked them to stitch it exactly like my natural line and went ahead with surgery. But the result was that, probably because it was set a little higher than my natural line or because it was stitched, the inner wrinkle got worse, and it got to the point where the inner wrinkle was visible even when I closed my eyes lol. The line also became thicker than my natural line, so the amount of iris showing decreased and my eyes, which were already sleepy-looking, became even sleepier-looking. It's worse than my original eyes, so if it was going to be like this, I shouldn't have had double eyelid surgery at all.. Since these were eyes I had a lot to lose with, I'm getting close to losing my mind. I stitched them because I was told the faintness would get better. When I went to another hospital, they said it was a situation where it should not have been stitched. They said, if you didn't want it to get longer, you shouldn't have had it stitched. And even though it was buried sutures, I have a lot of white scar tissue left. Anyone can tell I had double eyelid surgery, and when I put on sunscreen, that area shines glittery lol. But this hospital in general seems to have a lot of talk about scars, so I think it was my fault for not researching enough. When I tried to get it reversed, they told me I'd have to pay. Even in the photos taken at the hospital, you can see the wrinkle got deeper and longer, and I have to pay for that too..? The consultation content and the result are different, so what even...? I don't know. I don't think I should get the reversal done here, so I'm just looking around for a revision surgery hospital to lower the crease. Please do your research before going. If you post photos on this community, everyone says the inner-eye-corner wrinkle must be stressful^^ lol. Oh, and on the day of surgery, the doctor suddenly had to go to an academic conference, so the first slot got pushed back by several hours. I just ended up being the person who came early and waited.
