This is my review after a rhinoplasty consultation. At first I was tense because I had vague hopes mixed with worries, but as soon as I entered the hospital, the staff kindly guided me and I felt a little more at ease. The consultation started a little earlier than my reservation time, and first I spoke with the manager about the shape of my nose I had always been concerned about and the parts I wanted to improve. Then I had a one-on-one consultation with the surgeon, who carefully examined my nasal structure and explained the current proportions of my nose, skin thickness, and the balance between the nostrils and the bridge. During the consultation, they not only listened to the results I was hoping for, but also honestly talked about whether they were actually possible and the realistic range of change. As an expert, they explained in detail how the nose would fit with the whole face and that excessive change could instead feel burdensome, which made me trust them. I was also able to get practical information such as the surgery methods (open/closed rhinoplasty), anesthesia method, recovery period, and cost range, and I could ask 충분히 about the balance between breathing function and aesthetic change, which I was especially curious about. The surgeon calmly explained what might be difficult given my nasal structure and which surgical technique they recommended, and honestly told me about the options and risks that suited me. The consultation took about 20 minutes, and afterward the hospital showed simulation photos and before-and-after cases so I could use them as references. After the consultation, my vague fear about surgery decreased, and I felt that I could make my next decision with enough information and options understood. Above all, the consultation itself proceeded comfortably without pressure, so I would recommend it to people who are worried about their first consultation.
