This was the first place I went for removal consultation, and it was a one-doctor clinic. The consultation was done with ultrasound and palpation, and they looked at the silicone, cartilage, and so on while reviewing the ultrasound. The doctor seemed to have a rather cool personality. But because I did not get a CT scan, it was hard to get an exact consultation. Since the inside of my nose was in a total mess at the time, they did not say much about how confident they were about surgery, and the consultation was not very long. Interestingly, they said that during surgery, whether it is under sleep anesthesia or partial anesthesia, they wake you up once to check the shape and such. On the other hand, if you want to stay under sleep anesthesia the whole time, that costs extra, and there is no anesthesiologist on site.
