The hospital website had a cheek liposuction event for 700,000 won. When I visited, they used the regular price list and quoted 900,000. When I mentioned it, only then did she say, "Ah~~ you saw 'that' one?" The manager has huge skill when it comes to inflating prices and handling people. She tries to quote as high as possible. The director is conservative, defensive, and safety-oriented. On the day of surgery, when I asked them to do the area I had paid for (the cheekbone area), they said no.. Because they had recorded, during the pre-op design, that an unrelated area from 8 days earlier where I had a non-overlapping calcified lump removed with a cannula, I canceled the surgery that day and got a refund. The manager also never agreed or mentioned anything when inflating the price. Even changing clothes was odd; they just had me put a surgical gown over the everyday clothes I came in. They canceled the surgery, so I never got to try it and don't know about the skill, I went after seeing an ad for a low price, but that was not the case. (manager) The director is honest. Things that cannot be done are clearly said to be "not possible," or they might say "I'll do it" and then not actually do it during surgery. But if the price were at least cheap, I would at least consider getting the conservative, passive procedure. And the simplified service and system feel seem at odds with the cost (local anesthesia, simplified changing of clothes).
