I had often heard that fractional laser-type treatments take a long time to recover from and are extremely painful, so I was worried, but this was only mildly stinging and still very tolerable, and the procedure itself was not long, so it finished much faster than I expected. Right after, my face was a bit red and felt warm, but after a day or two it settled down a lot, so there was no major problem with daily life. As for the effect, instead of feeling dramatically different right away, after a few days my skin texture started to feel a bit more even and the rough areas became smoother first, and I was quietly satisfied that my makeup sat on my skin with less caking than before.
