I went for an eye consultation. I was thinking about revision double eyelid surgery and lower canthoplasty, and from the consultation they took photos and looked at my pictures while explaining things. It felt systematic. Usually a lot of places don't even take photos. Even though it was revision surgery, my eyes could still be done with buried sutures. They said something called Glam Eye, which is this hospital's method, and that they would do it together with non-incisional eye correction. They discouraged lower canthoplasty and recommended lower canthoplasty on only one side. It was the first time I heard someone say that lower canthoplasty probably isn't necessary because it can bring on dry eye syndrome.. haha Still, it's unfortunate that they made me wait a long time past my scheduled consultation time.
