Eye Surgery review at Jeijei (제이제이) · 2019-02-23

This is absolutely not a lie... I had a little lower and outer eye corner surgery here. It was a revision surgery. But my eye socket bone itself is not very large, so at other hospitals they said the lower canthoplasty was possible, but the outer canthoplasty could not be done any further. However, Director Yang Hae-won said it seemed like it could be opened a little more, so I had it done, and in the end it became a D shape, and the right eye had red exposed mucosa. It looks like a torn wound.. Of course, if you don't look closely, you might not notice, but it really bothers me. Even when I take photos, the outer corners of my eyes come out so red So I'm thinking about reconstruction surgery but I'm putting it on hold for now because I'm worried it will leave more scarring.. It's already been over a year since the surgery, and of course the red, wound-like look at the outer corner has improved a little compared to the first two months, but it's still visible. I don't think it will get any better from here. Oh, and I already had a very severe scar at the outer eye area from the previous outer canthoplasty. So every time I made eye contact with people, it was so hard, and I struggled with that scar for about 4 months. Then, with the desperate feeling of grabbing at straws, I applied two scar ointments three times a day every day, and it mostly disappeared in about two or three months.. Even so, that time was truly awful Every time I made eye contact, it was so stressful and uncomfortable The most important thing is to prevent scars from forming in the first place
