I had surgery in 2012, so I don’t remember the consultation details. I was really young and didn’t look into it at all; someone introduced me, and I just did it. I followed whatever the doctor told me to do, without thinking about design or anything. I’m dissatisfied with the result. First of all, the nerve lines are a little visible on both sides, and the right and left sides are slightly uneven, but I accept that because my face is naturally asymmetric. But my chin was already short, and they made it even shorter with a T-osteotomy, so after surgery I ended up with a receding chin. So the next year or so I got an implant, and more recently I had advancement surgery. It’s not like the surgery ruined my life or anything. What I really regret is that if I had researched more and stated what I wanted clearly at that time, maybe things would have been different. One advantage of the clinic, though I’m not sure if it’s still the same now, was that the facilities were really good. And after surgery I stayed overnight, and there was a caregiver assigned separately, so even though I had the surgery alone, it was okay.
