They look closely at the under-eye area and place a lot of importance on whether the front cheekbone protrudes, because of the possibility of under-eye hollowing. In my case, I didn’t have much under-eye fat and my front cheekbone was on the low side, so they strongly advised against surgery.. I spent 20 minutes arguing instead, asking whether maybe I actually had more under-eye fat and whether there was any way it could work. It’s usually the opposite, but if they judge that there may be no effect or that side effects are possible, they immediately oppose surgery and give a thorough explanation. I definitely don’t think they do overtreatment.
