Eye Surgery review at Dibain (디바인) · 2024-07-21

Two years ago I had a non-incisional back and lower canthoplasty, but it did not give much effect and ended up sticking together in a D shape, so I searched around and finally found a place famous for canthoplasty after looking through Barib Talk, Kang Uen, and other places. This is one of them. As soon as I went in, they filled out my chart and there was no waiting. Unlike the building exterior, the inside of the clinic was neat and there was no crowding typical of a large hospital, which I liked. The consultation with the manager had zero hard-selling. When I mentioned my past surgery history, they showed me before-and-after photos of people who had gotten canthoplasty there and explained everything. They were very kind and answered my questions without any annoyed expression. The manager consultation came first, then the doctor consultation. The doctor came in without a specific assignment, as expected for a one-doctor clinic. Even though it was a weekday afternoon consultation, the doctor explained everything enthusiastically without looking tired. What was different here from other hospitals was that they did not use the usual incision method, which I found interesting. They said they partially cut the skin but were not actually cutting the eyes, using a method that pulls the tissue and fixes it (??), but I was not sure whether the eye shape I was imagining would really come out well. They did explain kindly and in detail. They showed me with a cotton swab how far it could be pulled and how it would change. They said they could not do only back canthoplasty or only lower canthoplasty separately, and that both had to be done together. After that, the manager came back in and explained the price and other details. They said back-and-lower canthoplasty (lovely canthoplasty) would cost around 1.9 million won for revision canthoplasty, but if I disclosed part of my case it would be discounted to 1.35 million.
