The doctor has worked at one hospital continuously. I could feel pride not in 'I know who I am, where I stand,' but in having worked steadily in one place doing the actual work. You've probably heard that Dr. Yoon's surgical style is all or nothing, right? Some plastic surgeons are described as either avoidance-oriented or risk-oriented, but in my view the doctor seems to have both. People who are mostly adventurous usually have a background in organizational settings, have done surgery many times, also operate on parts other than the face, and often keep a scalpel in hand around any area. In particular, they explained in detail which surgeries should be included and mentioned additional procedures that distinguish them from other plastic surgeons, and to my eye it seemed like they were applying American-style theoretical, textbook-based principles. In the end, either you start with a perfect operation or you don't try at all. Still, the surgical course is probabilistic and you never know how it will turn out, but they do worry a lot. And if they think you are not a good match, this hospital will not operate on you. Still, many patients keep coming through word of mouth. The director sets the fees and handles everything. The person at the front desk cannot help with anything without the director's permission, so it is probably easier to just speak one-on-one with the director. Even so, it is a notch above avoidance-based surgery that prioritizes safety above all else, and they also have the will to add the best possible methods and try the surgery. So if you and the doctor have similar tendencies, or if you want to know the details of your eye structure more precisely, it might be worth visiting once, taking the points Dr. Yoon mentioned, and then consulting other hospitals as well to compare carefully. Compared with other hospitals, the doctor does quote roughly double the price, and triple for revision surgery, with extra charges added for the additional procedures!!
