I went there for a consultation because of double jaw surgery... The plastic surgery doctor was kind and explained things very logically, but the orthodontics doctor kept pressuring me, saying I had to get orthodontic treatment here and pay now, and held me there for an hour. Of course, I understand they had probably designed many orthodontic plans to match the surgery over the years and that this would likely turn out the prettiest, but since I am from outside the city and wanted to do orthodontics in my hometown if possible, I said that to them. Even after I explained that and they brought up examples of other patients and said absolutely not, and even after I said it was time for me to leave, they kept telling me to decide here and go. My plastic surgery consultation director was so kind, and the plastic surgery doctor was kind too, so I felt good and considered doing it here, but after seeing the orthodontics doctor, I left it alone. If you look at my teeth, 9 out of 10 clinics say the center line is just a little off, the teeth are very straight, and the bite fits well, so I do not need orthodontics. But looking at my teeth, that doctor cut down my self-esteem by saying that if my own child had teeth like this, they would be so upset that they would have fixed them right away when young and that they would not be able to live with teeth like these. Yet their own teeth were more crooked than mine, so hearing that there made me think that they may be good at surgery, but I should not do it here.
