I had incisional double eyelid surgery + eye-opening correction, and they left me with one thick scar on the left side, and also made the mucous membrane of my eye evert. Before the surgery, when I drew eyeliner, I only filled in the lash line; I never filled in the mucous membrane. Because of this mucosal eversion, I now have to apply makeup all the way to the mucous membrane, and my eyes are so tired I could die, and the stress keeps building, so when I went to the hospital they said that was just how my eyes were originally lolllllllllll. I wear eyeliner every day, so do you think I cannot tell the difference caused by one mucosal eversion?? From the early stage of the surgery up until one or two months later, when I contacted them several times because of the mucosal eversion, they said it was swelling and told me to wait, but now they say my eyes were like that to begin with... seriously. And it seems that whenever you go to the hospital after being dissatisfied with surgery, you hear the same thing. From their point of view, I look much prettier than before, or my eyes were already like that before surgery, and so on. At the first consultation before surgery, they only said what they had to say and left, but when I went back because I was unhappy after the surgery, they got annoyed and raised their voice, and then left again just like that. I still live with stress because of these eyes. It is hard to even look in the mirror every day, and I have even had bad thoughts several times. I really hope everyone meets a doctor who has at least basic communication with patients. Ah! And the surgery cost is much higher than at other hospitals. But I regret paying that amount so much, and it is so hard that I want to turn back time. I need to save up even more money and prepare for revision surgery again, and it is just so, so hard on my mind.
