I had consulted at several hospitals, but I wanted to decide based on the consultation style rather than the interior design of the hospital. I also thought that maybe they were only showing the cases that turned out well at places with good reviews. The more reviews there were, the more I thought, “Oh, they must have done a lot of surgeries,” or “Oh, the doctor must have done the surgery personally.” I went there without expecting much from Yeonse St. The doctor consulted with me first. At other places, the manager’s consultation came first, and the manager would write down how you wanted it done first and then pass it on to the doctor, but here I filled out my chart myself and went straight to the doctor. I told them I didn’t like flashy noses, and they listened to me well and waited for me. There wasn’t any diagnosis like “Try this, it would look pretty,” and I liked that. I think I know my own face best… and they design it according to the style I want, while the doctor only checks the matching with the eyes, mouth, and face shape. The manager’s consultation style was similar to the doctor’s. Calm. When I said I’d think about it and come back, there was no hard sell or persuasion.. I liked that they let me make the decision myself. I do think I wish they were a little kinder and more affectionate, but this place is the one I keep thinking about more than the other hospitals.
