I had trust in the doctor because of the unfiltered posts on the blog, so I went in wanting to remove what had been piled on thickly at my previous clinic. They said complete removal would be difficult and that using autologous costal cartilage would be best, but the autologous costal cartilage had calcified, so they used ear cartilage instead. The problem was that maybe too much ear cartilage was removed, because the ear became deformed My nose also became a bit crooked... It did not become as soft as the blog made it sound. But that is probably unavoidable once something is placed in the nasal tip, I think.
