I had revision surgery for a lateral canthoplasty here and my eyes are completely ruined. The corner of my eye looks like it was forced together, and the mucosa also looks like it has opened up, but the doctor keeps saying it will relax over time. It's already been 9 months, though They said 6 months would be enough That said, my eyes didn't get smaller either. My upper eyelids sagged, my eye shape changed, and the eye length got shorter. When I went to consult at other hospitals, they all said the eyes would inevitably become a little smaller Here they said the eyes would get bigger and longer, so I thought maybe the doctor had some special method. But there was nothing like that. What on earth did they do? After the revision surgery, my astigmatism increased by two grades, so I had to get new glasses and contacts. I had surgery on only one eye, and both eyes originally had astigmatism of 0.75, so it was mild astigmatism, but after the revision surgery the operated eye became 1.25, severe astigmatism. The unoperated eye stayed at 0.75. I went to three different eye clinics. At first I didn't realize because the swelling was so severe, but one or two weeks after surgery I gradually couldn't focus on my phone, so I went to an eye clinic and they said my vision in one eye had worsenedㅡㅡ My eyes also pull a lot and feel uncomfortable. On top of that, the scar tissue from the reconstruction is all lumpy and sticking out.... Just looking at my eyes makes me cry. If I post on the hospital consultation board, they reply to everyone else's posts except mine Honestly, I miss the time when my eyes were a bit open but looked big and clean at the corner with no scar there, so I look at old photos of my eyes every day before going to sleep. I had no functional problems at all, but after the reconstruction my eyes became so uncomfortable. I'm looking into another surgery.. I shouldn't have touched it; both my body and mind are ruined. I think about suicide every day
