The director's consultation was also very specific, and they didn't recommend unnecessary surgery, instead recommending mostly natural-looking procedures. For the nose, they raised it with Gore-Tex and tied the tip with autologous cartilage, and for the eyes they used the buried method. It's been over five years now, and I live my daily life without any discomfort. They said incision would look very unnatural, so I chose buried, but in the end it came loose and I had revision surgery again. Recovery from swelling and bruising was extremely fast. The nurses were rather stern.
