It has been exactly 1 year since I had under-eye fat repositioning and mid-cheek lifting. I didn’t have a lot of under-eye fat, but compared to my age, the fat and skin under my eyes were very saggy, and I had dark circles so badly that people kept saying I looked tired, so I decided to have surgery. After looking into several places, I chose it because the first review photos looked good, but my satisfaction after the surgery is just average... A little better than before? Maybe because I didn’t have a lot of under-eye bulging fat, it didn’t change as dramatically as other people’s before-and-after results. The sagging fat that had been gathered under my eyes is gone, but the dark circles are still there. The cheek-smile-line fixation and mid-cheek lifting were also recommended by the consultation manager, so I paid extra and had them done, but honestly I don’t know if they had any effect. Apgujeong is expensive across the board, but compared to my personal satisfaction, I think the cost was too high. The surgery took about an hour. The pain was truly a feeling I had never experienced in my life; if you endure it, it is bearable, but it was still a very unfamiliar sensation. When it ends, you’re out of it from the anesthesia, and because you must not lower your head, it’s best to bring one guardian with you. The bruising lasts for more than 2 to 3 weeks, and after about a month or two there’s still some residual swelling, so I think it looked prettiest when the under-eye area was plump. Once that period passed and all the swelling went down, I just felt so-so haha. For people like me who already had severe dark circles and hollow under-eyes, there may not be a big change as much as you expect^^;
