I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. I didn't originally plan to have double eyelid surgery, but as time went on my eyelid skin seemed to droop and a wrinkle? kind of line appeared, and that stressed me out so much. I had never had any surgery or procedure experience before, so I was scared and worried beyond belief, but even right after the surgery I didn't feel any pain at all, which was amazing. The recovery room bed was also so warm.. They also took such good care of swelling management and post-op care afterward that, even though it was my first surgery, I was really satisfied lol When the stitches were removed, I had heard that removing the epicanthoplasty stitches would hurt, so I was really worried, but it was just a slight stinging sensation and was manageable. I was very worried that because I had epicanthoplasty I would swell a lot, but maybe because I kept drinking pumpkin juice and doing cold compresses, the swelling went down well. Still, from the day of surgery itself there wasn't much swelling to begin with, and the bruising was only slight. I had a question and asked on KakaoTalk, and they replied quickly. I had seen a lot online that warm compresses were good for care, but they told me not to do it because the surgical area could turn red and might even bruise more. I hoped it would turn out naturally, and I'm completely satisfied. These days I'm slowly putting on makeup, and I think I'm definitely finding makeup more fun than when I had no double eyelids, so that's nice.
