I went for a consultation for revision eye surgery. What I am most worried about is uneven eyes, sleepy-looking eyes, and the unnatural connection with the inner corner incision. The director recommended incisional revision, and said that because I have exposure keratopathy, eye muscle correction or resection should absolutely not be done. After consulting other places, the opinions on this point were divided, so I would rather go to a hospital that will actually do the surgery, but for now I am very satisfied that the director mentioned the exposure keratopathy, because it gives me something to keep in mind when I consult other hospitals. The consultation with the director was only about 10 minutes? The consulting manager felt much less professional than at other places, and the hospital facilities did not feel especially amazing either. In plastic surgery, there is not especially a strong correlation between a director's skill and their academic background, but still, in terms of academic background meaning trust, the fact that the director graduated from Seoul National University could be considered an advantage.
