The doctor is famous in academic circles, and I heard this hospital mainly specializes in revision surgery. It was my first consultation slot. I heard the doctor is very famous in Japan, and there was a Japanese woman who came to consult at the same time. The consultation order was doctor first, before meeting the manager, and then the manager consultation afterward. I really liked the doctor's consultation. Before I even said anything, he immediately caught the part I wanted. Other places had only recommended basic nose surgery, meaning bridge plus tip, but the doctor at The Plus pointed out my left-right facial asymmetry in addition to the basic nose work, and also recommended osteotomy and lengthening the nose. The biggest reason I decided on surgery was the frontal effect, and even though I didn't explicitly say that, he pinpointed it and recommended it, which was the best part for me! What bothered me most was the manager consultation... haha The manager stayed there throughout the consultation, and after the doctor consultation finished, they discussed the price with the manager. Together with a friend who came with me, they quoted 300, but when my friend said she wasn't thinking about her nose right now, they immediately raised it to 320. Still, I thought 320 was really fine for such a famous and skilled doctor, so that part was okay. But what I disliked most was that when I mentioned I was thinking about working in broadcasting, the manager kept recommending contour surgery and cheekbone surgery to me. My facial shape is definitely quite angular and all, but I never brought up contouring even once during the whole consultation.... haha I came to consult about my nose. It felt like the manager talked about contouring almost the entire time. It was almost like this was a contour consultation instead of a nose consultation... haha They even suggested a real model to me and strongly pushed contour surgery. It felt close to being forced. The doctor's consultation was really good, and if I do decide to go ahead, I would probably do it here because the doctor is famous in academic circles, but the manager part of the consultation was a little uncomfortable.
