This is my review on day 37 after double eyelid incisional surgery. Overall, I am satisfied because the line came out clean without being overdone. During the consultation, they said that because my eyes are protruding, they would not make the line too large and would keep it appropriate, and that because the eyelid skin was sagging, I had to do the incisional method. My eyes are long horizontally, so they said no canthoplasty was needed. I had consulted about 7 places, and 5 of them said I needed eye muscle correction, so I had been debating it. Here, the director said that my eyelid skin was sagging, but my eye-opening strength was fine, so eye muscle correction was not necessary. They also set the line well during the consultation and did not recommend unnecessary surgery, so I decided on this place. On the surgery day, when they set the line again, they said they would make it naturally a little higher than a hidden double eyelid, which put my mind at ease. The local anesthesia stung a little, but it was bearable, and the atmosphere throughout the surgery was comfortable, so I felt I had been scared for nothing haha After the surgery, I visited again two days later for dressing, four days later for partial stitch removal, and six days later for complete stitch removal. Each time I went, I also had swelling-laser treatment and a consultation with the director, and they said it was going well, so that was a relief. It has only been a little over a month, so there is still some minor swelling, and the swelling is going down a little unevenly, but it is at a barely noticeable level. For an incision method, it is quite natural and I am satisfied. My eyes open better than before. However, the director is rather quiet, so when you consult, please prepare the questions and what you want in advance and have a thorough discussion.
