Eye Surgery review at Iwabaek (이와백) · Double eyelid surgery · 2020-02-19

I am rewriting my surgery review 5 weeks after the operation! Even though I was extremely annoying during the consultation, they looked at the photos carefully and answered all my questions. I felt the consultation was more professional than at other hospitals, and the head coordinator did not pressure me for a deposit. I could feel that they were trying to be considerate of my convenience, so I chose them. (I also wrote a consultation review, so you can read that!!) I had my upper canthoplasty, incision double eyelid surgery, and eye correction done. - The surgery was done under local anesthesia, and although it was painful because there was no proxy surgery and no side effects from sleep anesthesia, it was good. I went back the next day for disinfection and on day 4 and day 7 to remove the stitches, and each time they took good care of me afterward, like with laser treatment. Their attitude did not change before and after surgery, and on the first day the inner corner of my eye turned red so I was a little scared, but when I called and then visited the hospital, they were kind enough to explain that point separately. lol I tend not to have much swelling, so other than using warm compresses for about 3 days and then using cold compresses for the other 3 days while listening to podcasts for an hour a day, plus taking one pumpkin pill a day that a friend bought me, I did not do anything else at all. My friends who had incision surgery worried me a lot because major swelling took them more than a year to go down, but after 2 weeks I had the natural look of someone who had it done 2 years ago lololololol I asked for an in-out line, and it became exactly the natural, moderate line I wanted, so I am completely satisfied. I was worried about side effects from the eye correction, so until day 3 I kept going in and out of this site because I was anxious whenever I felt any pulling in my eyes, but now there is no overcorrection and it was corrected only up to the point of fixing my ptosis, so I am happy..lol There are no scars from the upper canthoplasty either!! Other people are running around looking for scar-treatment injections, but I am glad I do not have to worry about that T_T - It was my first surgery and right before college, so I researched a lot, asked many questions, and visited more than five hospitals to compare them. I think I made the right choice. If someone asks me to recommend a hospital, I am going to recommend this one.
