I went for a consultation for my first double-eyelid surgery, and they kept recommending canthoplasty. I said I wanted a pure, innocent look, but they still said I should get canthoplasty. The manager recommended it, and the doctor recommended it too. There was some pressure to leave a deposit after the consultation that day. In the end, I had the surgery somewhere else that didn't push canthoplasty, and if I had done canthoplasty, I definitely would not have gotten the look I wanted.
