I went for a consultation because I felt uncomfortable with the functional side after my first surgery, but even though they did not ask me anything or look at a CT scan, they looked inside my nose and said I would need a bivalve procedure, which caught me off guard. I am currently doing fine after just removal, and my breathing function has improved a lot too. I had said I wanted only removal, but they also wanted to take more ear cartilage and move toward a revision surgery, which did not feel right either. I was stressed about my nose and wanted to ask the things I had been wondering about while reading blogs from this community and other clinic directors, but they said they could not consult with people who had read too much on the internet, so I just left T_T They also said that for revision surgery they would use a method involving harvesting fat?? stem cells?? from the navel, so it felt like the surgery scale was becoming way too large.
