The hospital I went to for my first consultation. The facilities are good. The director is kind. But... he is very stubborn in his opinions. The consultation tends to go according to his own opinion more than the patient's. He talks at length and has confidence in his skills, but.. The consultation is conducted as if his words are the truth.. After about an hour of consultation.. it feels like you are being dragged along. Rather than feeling like something got resolved.. it feels more like huh?? Is this right?? It was the same on my follow-up visit. It may suit some people well, but proportionally it feels too focused on one style. Rather than the ratio of each person's eyes and nose, the consultation is based on the specific proportions of an average person. So.. I think some people could end up badly. If you know your own face well before visiting, it may suit you, but the jaw being pulled out long seems to be the director's preferred style. I am mostly satisfied with the manager, but the consultation manager is on maternity leave.. so just another staff member is filling in. She is blunt.. Overall, the director is humane and kind. But he is very strong-willed. The manager is absent, and.. it seems to be run mostly by a substitute rather than a dedicated manager. The atmosphere is clean, and it is near the station so the location is good.
