I booked a consultation with Director Yoon Chang-un specifically, and had about 8 minutes of consultation with him. The consultation was short, but this was the place where he explained my facial bones in the most detail. He said my face itself was not extremely developed, so rather than a dramatic change, the goal should be to smooth out the uneven parts. I went there thinking about all three contouring procedures, but he said my cheekbones were a bit developed toward the upper side, so I could just do that part and did not really need the jaw. What he said during the consultation left a strong impression on me, and I still remember it: “I like it as it is now. It is already beautiful enough now, but if the image you want is a different image, with the eyes, nose, and mouth standing out more, with no unevenness and a smaller look, then you can do it. But if you ask whether that makes it prettier, I do not know. If you refine the uneven parts, it does become a face that fits current standards and looks good with makeup on. If that is what you want, then you can do it, but if you say you must do this to this face, then that is a bad doctor, me.” I think that is what he said. I had always been worried because my lower jaw seemed a bit prominent, and I had even gone to a dental clinic for orthodontic treatment, but they said my teeth were not protruding, so there was no need for correction. So I had also wondered whether I needed double jaw surgery, but he brought up that part first after looking at the CT images and said something like it does stick out a little, but that is also a charm, which was nice because he identified exactly the part I had been worrying about. At other hospitals, they did not bring up the slight lower-jaw prominence and only explained the surgical method. I felt he was different from other places that just recommend all three procedures no matter what when I said I wanted the three-contour package. He explained everything in detail with angles and mm, and it was the most ideal consultation by a doctor among the hospitals I visited. The price was the standard 1,500 / face partial disclosure 990, but with the student event discount of 100 more off, it became 890 / full face disclosure 450. After the consultation, the manager also gave me a free drink coupon, so I had a drink at the cafe on the first floor before leaving. However, since the entire 15 floors of the building are this clinic, there were lots of people and staff and it felt a bit chaotic, so after the consultation I felt completely drained.. Because it is a large hospital, I did not really feel a huge sense of trust, but separate from the hospital itself, Director Yoon Chang-un seemed like a very conscientious person with good character, which I liked! I think he would do really well if he opened a private contouring specialty clinic someday.
