The hospital looks like a cafe. It is decorated really well with Instagram-style vibes. The waiting area was pretty, so my first impression was very good, but the consultant manager.. well, not exactly rude, but uncomfortable is the better word. I do not know if the reviews saying there was absolutely no pressure to leave a deposit were from different consultants, but the one assigned to me basically pushed the deposit like this: 'You can get surgery at another hospital. We are not saying you must do it at our hospital. We give lots of information so you can avoid the bad hospitals out there. But after going around for consultations, most people end up coming back to our hospital anyway. Deposits can be refunded, and if you book on the same day it is cheaper, so it would be good to put down a deposit first, go around for consultations, and then come back.' That was the flow of the conversation, and they pressured me to leave a deposit! In the end I did leave a deposit and got it refunded, but when I went to get the refund, the desk staff said something like, 'We already matched the price cheaper for you, so why are you refunding it?' Even though I had the right to get my money back, I ended up feeling self-conscious and uncomfortable.. Even if they pressure you to leave a deposit, do not leave it impulsively and walk out; go to other places too and decide after enough consultations!
